New Skills First scheme – Commencing January 2017

The Victorian Government announced its Skills First scheme on Friday – which offers subsidies for over 1075 qualifications across a variety of industries. The new scheme has a refined funded course list and aims to improve the quality of training by providing subsidies for more relevant and targeted courses.

The scheme forms part of Victoria’s $1.2 billion annual investment in training and workforce development.
