Skillaroos successful at WorldSkills 2015

The Skillaroos competed in 23 different skill categories in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in the competition that commenced on 11 August 2015. The team was successful in gaining three silver and two bronze medals, a Best of National medal and a cluster of medallions of excellence. Read media release

Expressions of interest to operate as a Skills Service Organisation open

The Australian Government, through the Department of Education and Training, is inviting applications for funding to be a skills service organisation. Skills service organisations will provide a range of independent, professional development activities to support industry reference committees to review and develop training products, including training packages. SIT Training Package consultation now open

Draft 1 of the SIT Tourism, Travel and Hospitality is now available for public feedback on Service Skills Australia’s online feedback register. Feedback can be provided online until 21 August 2015. Further information at serviceskills.com.au
