Training staff


Managers and supervisors who are involved in the delivery of training must be aware that prior to designing and developing any training plans, programs or courses, it is necessary to identify who needs to be trained, how they should be trained, what they need to know and what level of training is necessary. Incorrectly targeted training is unproductive and a waste of time and money.

Assessment conditions

Assessment texts and tasks reflect those typically found in the workplace. Advice and support is available if requested. Culturally appropriate processes and techniques suited to the language, literacy and numeracy capacity of individuals and the work being performed must be used. Reasonable adjustments can be made to ensure equity in assessment for people with disabilities.
