Updated CHC – My Aged Care changes
My Aged Care is part of the Australian Government’s changes to the aged care system which have been designed to give people more choice, more control and easier access to a full range of aged care services.
We have reviewed and updated a number of units from the CHC training package impacted by these changes.
Specifically, relevant units within the Aged Care stream now include information on:
- My Aged Care
- the programs and packages associated with this initiative
- the process for seeking assessment by Regional Assessment Service (RAS) assessors or Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACATs)
